Welcome Message

Greetings and welcome to the Department of Chemistry at VIT-AP Univeristy, Amaravati, India.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it’s a great honour to welcome you to the Second International Conference on Next Generation Sustainable Materials for Water and Energy Solutions – 2026 (SuWatE+’26) held at VIT-AP University, Amaravati from March 26-28, 2026.

SuWatE+’26 is your chance to see what the researchers, scientists, and the stalwart industries – are up to in the microscopic world. Participants will engage in discussions regarding cutting-edge research, exploring the impact of nanotechnology on future technological paradigms. Nanotechnology, characterized by the precise control of matter at the atomic and sub-atomic scales, facilitates the development of solutions addressing critical challenges, including energy optimization and the enhancement of electronic device functionality.

We are hosting a stellar panellist, plenary, keynote, and invited talks from some truly brilliant minds across the seven seas. And of course, plenty of technical forums to geek out on advanced nanomaterials, energy applications, biosensors, nanomedicine, and more.

Presenters, particularly early-career researchers, are invited to showcase their research findings. A dedicated award will recognize outstanding contributions, acknowledging the rigor and innovation inherent in nanoscale investigations.

This conference is your golden ticket to explore, collaborate, and discuss the future of nanotechnology. Also, you get to experience the vibrant green atmosphere of newly emerged VIT-AP University, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.

We anticipate the presence of all attendees. We trust that your experience at VIT-AP University will yield significant intellectual insights and contribute to impactful advancements in sustainable materials for water and energy solutions.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Best Wishes,
Conference Committee

About School of Advanced Sciences (SAS)

The School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) is one of the seven Schools of VIT-AP University, and it houses the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Here, students are taught how to think critically through project-based learning (PBL) and not merely what to think. Students are encouraged to question, explore, and research throughout their studies, ranging across the various disciplines of sciences.

Our School aims to provide a solid foundation in Natural Sciences, projecting the recent scientific and technological developments to the graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students. We aspire to be a valuable contributor towards the nation’s growth by producing highly skilled professionals and by engaging in cutting-edge research.

SAS earnestly pursues a vision of providing local, regional, national, and international leadership in research and technology development. We believe in the quality of education and research with ethical and professional standards for a better tomorrow. Here, students make their choices based on their preferences and requirements that equip them with a balance of logical-thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential to tackle today and tomorrow’s professional challenges.

The spectrum of research activities at SAS is extensive and distinct. The school has more than 40 registered faculties under the Research Grants in Engineering, Management, and Science (RGEMS); an initiative from VIT-AP University, to motivate research that can lead to R&D projects. In collaboration with our faculty, undergraduate students pursue active interdisciplinary research through undergraduate research experience (URE) projects to make intellectual and creative contributions towards the advancement in science.
